HEY! I'M ELFRIDA....

I live in the beautiful coastal town of Clifton Springs, Victoria with my husband and our two kids, who are now 19 and 15.

I also have a 26-year-old stepson who’s out on his own, and I recently became an Ouma - which has been such a joy! I grew up in South Africa and moved to Australia as a nurse more than 20 years ago.

For the last 11 years, I’ve been leading inner healing sessions in my free time, as a volunteer, something I’m deeply passionate about.

Having a flexible schedule means I can continue this important work, which comes just below my top priority of being there for my family.

That’s when I started my online business in Personal Development. It has been such a rewarding transition!

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE:  I finished school and went straight into a 4-year nursing degree, working in South Africa before migrating to Australia.

After starting with a nursing agency, I took up a permanent role in a correctional facility, where I worked for 10 years. 

During COVID, we reassessed our lifestyle and moved from Melton to the coastal town of Clifton Springs - but that meant a 70-minute commute.

I resigned and took a radiology nursing job closer to home, but just three months in, mandates meant I could no longer continue. After only 18 months in our dream home, we had to sell to cope on one income.

The only roles available were interstate and with no desire to return to night shifts after years away, I knew it was time to diversify and create a new path for myself.

WHEN HELPING PEOPLE BECAME MY BUSINESS:  I’d always loved nursing because no matter what, I could make a difference in someone’s life. But when regulations changed, I realised that even what I considered a secure career wasn’t guaranteed

 During this forced time off, I really appreciated still being able to contribute to society through the Inner Healing sessions - helping people find freedom and balance emotionally, physically and spiritually.

But volunteer work doesn’t pay the bills, so I started looking at online business opportunities that lined up with my vision and Personal Development was the perfect fit. I knew I wanted to keep helping people, but in a bigger way.

I got clear on the kind of business I wanted: one that allowed me to travel, enjoy family time, be financially secure for the future and not miss out on life as a new Ouma.

THE LESSON THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING:

Personal Development has been a focus for me for years, starting through a healing group and ministry at my church, as well as other studies.

Taking courses opened my eyes to how self-limiting we can be and that we were created to prosper and flourish. I realised we all have a “chicken line” - if we don’t step past it, we don’t stretch, we don’t grow.

Faith became the courage to take that risk. Learning to be emotionally healthy, helping people stop going around the same blocks in life, and finding breakthroughs in my own relationships - loving unconditionally and putting connection over rules - gave me a whole new perspective.

Tapping into the mindpower we all have, free from fears and hesitation, showed me that with faith, we truly are unstoppable.

THE BUSINESS THAT TOOK OFF: I recently started a business focused on Personal Development products that genuinely make a difference. The support and guidance during the setup process, along with the continuous learning, has been incredible - truly my saving grace.

Going from nurse to launching my own company  was so far out of my comfort zone; I had no business or IT experience and honestly didn’t know where to start. The amazing training videos have taught me so much and I can now see that this business is designed to position anyone with the desire, effort and commitment to create a new level of success.

I get to be part of a community where everyone has a positive outlook on life and it’s not just about building your own empire. People are here to contribute, create impact and help others thrive. At this stage of my life, being able to focus on family while making a difference in the world is everything.
